Open Destinations for Fully Vaccinated Travellers from India
Travelling this past year has been a fairly hectic affair. So many restrictions and lockdown all around the world, both easing up and tightening down in a seemingly random manner. However, things are getting better by the day especially with the rollout of vaccines all over the world. For those of you who are reading this from India, we’re happy to inform you about the various countries that are currently accepting travellers from India provided that they are fully vaccinated with Covishield only. Other variants of the vaccine are not accepted at the moment.
For starters, there are a few places currently accepting non-vaccinated individuals. These include:
- Russia
- Maldives
- Mexico
- Albania
- United Kingdom
For the UK, individuals will have to undertake a 10 day quarantine period.
The rest of the listed countries are only allowing individuals fully vaccinated with Covishield. These countries will not require you to quarantine unless stated otherwise.

- Oman
- Mauritius ( From the 1st of October)
- Switzerland
- France
- Germany
- Spain
- Austria
- Croatia
- Iceland
- Turkey
- Canada (Only via Indirect Flights)
- Peru
- Egypt
- Ukraine
- Serbia (You will have to undertake a 7 days quarantine period)
- Seychelles
- South Africa
- Cambodia
- Qatar (You will have to undertake a 10 days quarantine period)
- Ethiopia
- Tanzania
- Armenia
- Uzbekistan
- Bhutan (You will have to undertake a 14 days quarantine period)
- Nepal
- Kenya
- Rwanda
