This gem of a beach conceals itself on an island just off the shore of the Queensland coast, near the edge of the great barrier reef. You’ll be greeted by seven kilometres of sparkling white silica sand bordering the magnificent blue waters of the ocean when you arrive there.
The beach is situated on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands that comprise the Whitsunday group. The changing depth of the waters causes colours of blue to shift and swirl around sand creating a truly stunning view.
